Happy Love Day Loved Ones! Happy Love Month! Love Always!

Those who know me also know that Valentine’s Day is my favorite so-called “holiday”. I know, they are all Hallmark or man-made holidays – if you do the research, there are multiple contrived holidays every day 😁 What endears Valentine’s Day to me so much, in spite of my multiples reasons to pretend the day doesn’t exist, is that it brings to the forefront for many people the reminder to Love One Another. Yes, yes, this very fundamental concept is the basis of every conscious day we live. But, all too often, people mindlessly move through life by default - being swept away with what is thrown at them in everyday occurrences. Valentine’s Day is a beautiful wake-up to love reminder.

In light of taking conscious action, this blog post unfolds during Love Month. My last post was in April 2022. After that, I decided to stop blogging for a while after asking myself, “What would love do?” Besides considering the rest of the Universe, this question was also directed to my Earth Self. The guidance was to give blog writing and posting a rest – indefinitely. After all these months, something strongly urged me to write this post. I used to argue much more vehemently with Spirit in the past but now trust Its direction. Especially since, as I am typing this, I don’t know what the message is I am “supposed” to send out. Talk about Trust! All I know is that I am called to release it, as peacefully as possible, on Love Day aka Valentine’s Day.

Once again, my gypsy life is about to about to take a radical turn. I have been privileged to live on a warm, most desirable (for me), somewhat tropical beach for pretty much longer than I’ve been anywhere in the past 14 years. Hmmm there’s 14, as in February 14^th 😉. It has been one of the most delightful, magical situations of my life. Dolphins, seahorses, crystals, sunshine and enchantment have been my regular companions. Refuge from the world’s craziness was also a blessing here. I actually have no idea what is next on my mystery horizon. Thankfully, I have a myriad of options in spite of no clear direction in this moment. That doesn’t mean clarity won’t show up in an hour or a day – that is Trust! I have not forgotten about the Paradise of My Dreams either. Perhaps something in this next chapter will lead me a bit closer to that reality. The Universe is aware of my requirements for a peaceful life in order that I might shine my light in the brightest manner possible for this world. I Love. I Trust.

Happy April All!
Allowed myself to skip putting out a March blog, although words were already flowing for it. It just didn’t feel peaceful. More and more, I am tuning in to my intuition even though it seems more and more contrary to conventional thinking. I am doing my best to take the action for the highest good of all….and that includes the highest good of myself. Each and every one of us are part of God and, I believe, if we treat ourselves and others that way, the world will be a brighter “godlier” place. Perhaps this is a new concept for you? What might happen if you tried this on for a bit? Could a new attitude help brighten your own world?

Spring, which the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing, often signals new beginnings. The Southern half of the globe is experiencing Autumn – still reminding us everything on planet earth has cycles. As frequently reflected, we can start a new beginning any day…. any moment. But sometimes the changing seasons can help support that more powerfully. It can also serve to remind us that nothing, in this physical reality, lasts forever. There are cycles – of growth, life, emotions… The Master is one who not only creates the waves but rides them expertly. Of course, you may choose just to relax a bit in a hammock between waves....or just create little waves 😉.

Common Sense?

“It’s just common sense!” has been uttered dogmatically throughout the decades. But is it really? Ever consider why common sense isn’t so common? The reasons are as vast as the planet and beyond. Most people where not brought up the same way – different parents, different countries, different languages and cultures. This alone would contribute to so many thoughts/beliefs/actions not held in common. What is a sign of appreciation in some cultures, is an insult in others. What is a compliment to one, is an insult to another. What is gorgeous to some, is ghastly to someone else. One’s justice - another’s crime.

Usually, when people call on “common sense”, they really mean common to what they themselves believe is right or makes sense. They align with others who have programming, beliefs and practices in common with them, thus reinforcing their own beliefs and way of life.

So, you see, it is virtually impossible to have only one way of being even in one city – much less the whole world. Instead of bemoaning the lack of, or wishing for, common sense, might it not be more helpful to look for common ground? We will all have our differences – those things that make each and every one of us uniquely beautiful. We wouldn’t really want to all look the same – think the same – act the same. We aren’t robots or a clone race so let’s celebrate our differences and enjoy our similarities.  

Something many have in common with me, to a greater or lesser degree, is a dependence on technology. Once upon a time I was told

that everyone successful in business needed proper branding and a website. I spent a lot of time, money and energy cultivating that “requirement” and never had the results I’d hoped for with them. What’s more - these activities certainly didn’t fall into the “what brings me joy” category. Recently, I have made the tough decision to take my website down. With technology changing every week, I really hadn’t been able to use it properly for the past 15+ years. I held on to retain info on it that I wanted and hoped, someday, to have someone else take over. Or, at least, make it so I could manage the content again. In all these years, neither has happened and it had become more and more obsolete. Perhaps a sign I may not need as much technology in the future?

Another sign (?) is my email continuing to be blocked and the alternate service to my challenges – Mailchimp – not performing (pun intended) desirably either.   First it was my email service – Rackspace -  that was supposedly the problem – evidently flagged for “spam”. It seems that sending something only once a month is suspicious as opposed to flooding peoples’ email boxes on a more frequent basis. Then it was the recipients. Hotmail, aol and yahoo were big spam offenders so they were punishing me? by blocking my emails? I still get a plethora of spam flowing to my Hotmail and universalwellness accounts so none of it makes sense at all to me – from a human perspective, that is. Whatever the issue, it really seems like the tech windows are closing around me….

A Wee Bit of Magic? It’s Elemental!

Magic and enchantments dazzle this month

complete with divas, fairies, leprechauns and other elementals. Some celebrate St. Patty’s Day. Some revere the Equinox be it Vernal or Autumnal depending on where in the world you are.  Maybe you even remember Theodore Geisel’s Birthday in appreciation for all the joy Dr Seuss continues to bring to children of all ages. I also have a GrandPuppy, Hero, who celebrates his 4^th birthday this March. Whatever you choose to enjoy, I continue to urge you to celebrate. Celebrations generally mean joy (perhaps with a little Irish jig). Joy enhances our health and well-being- spiritual, mental and physical.

Speaking of well-Being, I’ve shared before about Simbi – an exchange platform I belong to. There I “met” and received a fascinating reading from Cindy Welch, or Cece Tarot , as she is known there. Since her style was particularly interesting to me, I looked into her offerings a bit more. I found, not surprisingly, she’d authored an enchanting novel called The Mists of Tir Na Nog. These days I am guided to read very few books – a story perhaps for another time. I was enthralled by the twists and turns of the story; finding interesting co-relations in my own personal tale. If magic, wizards and fairies pique your interest, you may also find The Mists of Tir Na Nog to be a real page turner – or finger swiper as I read it on Kindle. In addition to my Beach Art, I am sometimes gifted with items to sell to help support myself and brighten the lives of others. With the arrival of Spring, birth and rebirth can be found all around. This darling, realistic looking Bird Family seems very appropriate for Springtime although charming year round. Note the Mother doting over her two new babies as she waits for one more egg to hatch. Proud Papa keeps a watchful eye over the family from afar.
