Ongoing Trust and Persistence

Aloha Dear Ones!

I haven’t been blogging much for many reasons. I have nothing physical to show for that spa retreat dream I’ve been pursuing for now decades. I don’t have momentous adventures to share. Actually, I have had adventures but, for various reasons, they are not appropriate to divulge with the world. My hosts, as with my respected personal training clients, can rely on confidentiality for their privacy. Certain circumstances have also necessitated not disclosing my whereabouts for my well-being and privacy. I am not a “public figure”. I am not even a business trying to reach far and wide for customers. I am also not a vlogger trying to rack up the most subscribers. I have used blogging as a method to reach those whose lives I am meant to touch. Some I am grateful to have been able to inspire by my words or example. For others, it has been a delight to have been able to provide physical assistance as well.

As expressed previously, I had many frustrations with technology. Personally, I can’t keep up with the blink of an eye changing tech in a manner necessary to get my communication out in a pleasing format and reach all those it may be beneficial to reach. For all the above reasons, I probably will continue not posting regularly. However, every once in a while, I am guided to send yet another message. Whether it be for the good of many or possibly to reach just one individual, I am following that call.

I continue to contemplate the idea of my Tropical SpaRetreat from every twist and angle imaginable. Helping others have a positive life transformation was one of the main goals. Perhaps my retreat will actually manifest some year in this reality. Perhaps not. What remains crystal clear is that, in pursuing that lofty aim, I have been helping others make amazing life shifts everywhere my wanderings have taken me. Think the familiar quote from Lord of the Rings, “All who wander are not lost”. Admittedly, there have been many times I have questioned myself and the paths I was on – seemingly way off track for where I thought I’d be. Yet, I was not, and am not, lost. Miracles and synchronicities are my daily fare. They serve as signs, winks from Heaven, indicating I am exactly in the right place at the right time on my particular path. Even if I am not serving in the manner I anticipated by now, my service and dedication to elevating the planet is in no way diminished.

How about your life? Are you right now where you imagined you would be? Do you ever have doubts about the choices you’ve made and turns you have taken at those forks in the road? I’m guessing most of you, to some degree, are in a very different place than you imagined. Some will see that as a blessing while others are going, “What the ____?!” Now, back up a bit in your life and look real hard. I suspect, if you allow yourself to get past any guilt or self-judgement, you will see abundant synchronicities too – your own personal “winks from Heaven” confirming you are on the right path for you! But wait, I’ve got a little secret to share…. Yes, I know there are a few who have “gotten” this already but perhaps a reminder wouldn’t hurt. There is NO ONE Right Path! As the saying goes, “All roads lead to Rome”. Well, all paths take us Home! Now that doesn’t necessarily mean we should throw all care to the wind – unless that is your preferred style. There are definitely paths that are more pleasant than others. And yes, we definitely have the power to influence them. Fate or destiny are not the be all end all in this lifetime…unless you want them to be 😉 Perhaps a review might be a good idea for you at this time. What manifestations in your life are joyfully serving you? What things in life are painfully serving you? “What?” you say. “Pain does not serve me!” Yeah, it kinda does but that would possibly require volumes to even begin convincing you of such. Rather than dwell there, consider what one action you might take today to shift your path in a direction that is more pleasing to you. Oh, I can already hear some peoples’ minds screaming out about selfishness. Actually, selfishness is part of a healthy way of being. It has been part of my higher purpose to help others understand this. The majority of us were indoctrinated with the idea that selfishness is evil. One of the most basic examples of why it is the opposite of evil, and very necessary, is the airplane admonition. Put your oxygen mask on before helping others! This only makes sense. You can be of the most benefit to others the more whole and complete you are yourself. If your cup is empty, you have nothing to share. Yet, if your cup overfloweth……
The more we experience ourselves as whole and complete, the more we can be of bright service to others! Maybe it would help if we give selfishness a new name due to the stigma attached to that word. How about self-fullness? Self-kindness? I am not a prolific wordsmith so, perhaps, you can come up with the perfect expression that resonates with you – then embody it!

Again, I urge you to find at least one way of nurturing yourself which will automatically assist you in shifting your life journey in a more pleasant direction for you.

One of the ways I am doing this is reaching out to you. It may be time for me to embark on a new adventure. I have lived, since 2009, by trade or exchange - my accommodations and such in exchange for some kind of service. Circling back again to my title…My sojourn has definitely been one of ongoing trust and persistence. I trust the Universe to guide me to where I should be for the highest and best good of myself and all. Following that path, I trust I will be provided for abundantly – having all the tools I need to live vibrantly and joyfully along the way. In spite of outward appearances indicating I’ve made no progress for decades on my anticipated journey so far, I persist in the direction I am intuitively guided. Yes, I have my doubts here and there. Yes, I get discouraged sometimes. Yes, I get downright frustrated and, occasionally, even depressed by the external evidence. Some of the characteristics of being human for sure! Yet I have managed to persist on this multi-faceted, exciting trip on Planet Earth trusting in a Higher Power that I AM part of. I am going the distance as long as it is appropriate. Gratitude is also bigtime fuel for my ongoing fire. As part of my “job” is to help you, I surround you with radiant love light and ongoing energetic support in all you are inspired to do and be. Blessings all around…..

More Questions and Always….Appreciation

Here I am….posting another blog message – almost a surprise to myself. Right after telling people they could follow me on blogger and thus get notified about my messages, I find out that Feedburner – evidently the addon that enabled such – is discontinuing this service in July. And it turns out my emails, for the last few months, have been going to people’s spam folders – particularly gmail accounts. I have no progress to report on “that” Tropical Spa Retreat…or even hints. It really seems there is one reason after another to discontinue my messages. However, all I need is one good reason to make a new post. And Spirit has given the green flag yet again.

As you are aware, everything is energy. So many folks are pining for the way things were and desperately trying to go back to the “old ways”. What they fail to recognize is that all those old systems were, in some way, broken or dysfunctional. Oh, they were functional for something – for getting us collectively to the point we are right now. If everything is energy, how did we get here? You can come to your own conclusions by following the energy. Follow the strongest emotions of the majority of mankind. Follow the greatest flow of money. Then, things will become clear. Thankfully, more and more are awakening to this understanding. They are consciously becoming aware of their thoughts (energy) and redirecting them in more desirable directions. Increasing numbers are spending their money more consciously - choosing to let their money speak by not investing in companies trying to “keep” the old destructive ways, and instead, supporting people, businesses and causes that are making this world a brighter place.

Speaking of the old ways, there are many old adages that aren’t particularly healthy or helpful either. Recently, on fb, I re-shared a “memory” of my kids when they were little. It was accompanied by this musing of mine, “That concept, ‘Live each day as if it were your last’ never worked for me since it was first introduced to me by a coach decades ago. I'd spend the whole day saying good-bye to my kids. Pretty sure they don't want to do THAT every day!” Another frequent example is someone trying to encourage another saying there are lots of others going through the same thing as you. Or, you’re not the only one with this particular challenge. While misery loves company might work for some people, it doesn’t make me happy knowing others are sad or challenged too. If I am in a (temporary) low place, thinking someone else is feeling the same would only make things worse. My point is not to tell you which sayings or beliefs are good or bad. I am simply suggesting you reconsider doing or thinking things just because you always have done and thought that way in the past. Consciously, rethink what was previously your automatic thinking. Perhaps there are some of the “old ways” that you might benefit from letting go of or updating for who you are now. Perhaps there are even new ways you’d never considered before simply because you were too attached or stuck in old way habits.

I remember a story I heard a while back that’s a great example of

doing things a certain way just because that’s how they were always done – Grandmother’s Ham. While there are various versions, it goes something like this:
A husband and his wife were in their kitchen. The husband was sitting in the kitchen while his wife was preparing a ham for dinner. The husband watched the wife cut off about one inch from either end of the ham. He asked why she cut the end off, saying “that’s a waste of good ham!” She said “that’s the way my mom prepared the ham.” The husband asked “why did your mom cut the ends off?” The wife didn’t know. Later, the wife called her mom to find out why she cut the ends of the ham off. Her mom said “because that was the way my mom prepared ham.”

The wife’s grandma passed away several years earlier, but her Grandpa was still living. She called her Grandpa and asked “Grandpa, why did Grandma cut the ends off of the ham?” He was silent as he thought for a moment. Then he replied, “so the ham could fit in the baking pan.”

What am I going to do from this point? Almost every aspect of technology is working “different” for me than it is “supposed” to....or is it? Perhaps all those “break downs” are guiding me onto new paths. Perhaps even my previous goals/visions are being re-written into something grander that even I could have imagined. I am definitely open to new possibilities. Living in trust is really second nature to me now. And I am super grateful that I always know my very next best step. No doubt when you take care of yourself, trust God ~ the Universe, and act mindfully, you will know your very next best step too!

Selling My Soul

taking unfair advantage of trusting people interested in making their lives better. As I got older, I realized it wasn’t only the door to door variety of salesmen that were manipulating people – or the ones in the stores. There were actually people selling ideas and beliefs with the same manipulative “selling” tools – basically brainwashing. My disdain for selling increased. Then, I was in the position of selling. Selling myself, my skills and products in my business. Oh, I loved how I helped people but never really got comfortable with the selling aspect.

Since then, besides my business Universal Wellness, I’ve had experience selling in a plethora of arenas. Selling houses, land, cars, boats, and a hotel. I’ve sold motorcycles, bicycles, treadmills and other exercise equipment. My experience spanned dozens of selling platforms for real estate and more including Craigslist and venues social media has to offer. Even got myself kicked out of one for selling banned items – visualize stiletto heeled shoes triggering a weapon alert. I could write a book about selling and the entertaining aspects thereof including prospects’ behavior. “Oh, I didn’t actually read the ad.”  “No, I didn’t look at the pictures.” “This WILL fit in the back of my SUV!”  Don’t look for it though, as it would bring me no pleasure reliving all that.

Beauty I’ve had difficulty selling has been my Gifts From the Sea. I have always been artistic - blossoming via a variety of mediums. Combining my love of the beach and creativity was only natural. Over the years, I joyfully hand-crafted numerous sea treasures – always with the loved ones in mind who would delightfully receive them. Needs arose making money (in my  as little money as possible world) necessary. At first, it was difficult to even create my masterpieces without a specific person in mind. I overcame that imagining mystery recipient being excited to have it. Envisioning the loving energy with which it was infused enhancing their life also helped. But then there was that thing about charging money. It was like charging money for love. Then again, if everything we do is with love, the money we get for anything is for love. Thankfully, there are some people who understand that and pay….with love 💖

One of the things I’ve had varying degrees of success selling – depending on how you measure – is of a concept. I thought I’d be starting a tropical spa retreat many moons back. Hundreds of people were interested in participating in one manner or another. Years have flown by yet the perfect retreat location remains elusive. However a surprising number of supporters continue to fuel the flame with their belief. Periodically I get a reminder asking about “progress” or confirming their faith in me. I still don’t know whether this place will be manifested or not. Still have no substantial news to share about it. To all you wonderful Loved Ones, I swirl my continued gratitude. You mean so much to me! What I do know is I am still selling a concept.
The vision is of a brighter way of living. Imagine entering another level of consciousness in which we are powerful, beyond our current imagination, and can create our own worlds. And no, I am not selling by manipulation or force. I am not seeking only personal gain – although the more people living in joy benefits everyone else. I am selling by my example – giving people a glimpse of other possibilities. If they are interested, they can proceed on their own without obligation. Their innate - inner guidance will take over, if allowed, with the best path for each individual. I have basically bared / sold my soul for this endeavor. I am not here to show you The Way. I am selling/showing/shining you A Way. Now it’s up to you if you want to use any of my ideas or example in helping you forge a new, blissful, loving path for yourself!

Now I ask you….. What are you selling?

Claircognizant? Clairvoyant? Clairsentient?

Last month I had a conversation with a lady regarding a situation about which I had a great awareness. She asked what I “did”. Most folks talking about these specific topics would call themselves Intuitives, Reiki Masters, Readers, Clairvoyant etc. I replied I didn’t have a label for my abilities and what I know. She asked how long I’d been doing “this”?  Since I was born….. It was obvious the woman was having difficulty putting me in a familiar classification box by my answers.

While I’m not big on labels, recently someone “identified” me with one. I guess it’s more useful for me to view them as characteristics or attributes rather than who I AM. There I was, a little jokingly, complaining about my abilities or, more accurately, my lack thereof. Why is it that I know so much information but can’t remember how to use my telepathy (See ANASTASIA and Amazon)? Why can’t I see auras or energy? Why can’t I see a dearly departed over another’s shoulder. Why don’t I “hear” answers to questions I ask? There are numerous individuals who don’t have a fraction of the information I do yet they can “see” and “hear”. (By “information” here, I am referring to things that are not common knowledge or acquired by book learning or school indoctrination.) The whole scenario just made no sense to me.

Pamela Aaralyn is my newly (re)acquainted friend who I met at the in5d conference back in October as I shared in Warm Holidays. Her website reads, “Pamela was born extra-sensory but an encounter with an archangel at age five really opened up her gifts and confirmed to her the path that her life would take. As a clear conduit channel Pamela has direct access beyond the veil. Color and sound play important roles in expanding upon the information she receives.” Putting forth my complaint/query to Pamela, she responded without hesitation, “It is because you are Claircognizant. You just KNOW things.”

Not book learning much of what I “know”, I wasn’t even aware this word existed so had to look it up. Claircognizance is “clear knowing”. People who are claircognizant may psychically know a great deal of information all at once, receiving it in a sort of “download” from God(dess), their Spirit Guides, Angels, and/or Higher Self. Claircognizant information may also come in the form of little insights that happen in the moment, or as inspired ideas that pop up just at the right time. Information received claircognizant is most often mentally, accompanied by the strong knowing sense that it is true… despite the lack of any logical or physical evidence. That definitely explains a lot. So many times I just knew things without knowing why or having a good reason to provide someone questioning. This was particularly difficult for me with certain individuals I’d previously attracted into my life who wanted proof for everything….. something I could never provide. It also sheds light on why I was so “successful” coaching a particular clientele. These clients came to me ready, willing and open to learn from the information I was able to impart with them. They pretty much took it and ran with it on their own. Yet with other folks, who I personally really wanted to share certain things, it was a practice in futility. Since much of my information didn’t make sense in traditional thinking, it was cast aside for lack of proof. A few people believed me after something I said took place, but it generally was too late then. Still others treated things that I predicted as just a “coincidence”. After much frustration, I learned mostly to keep what I know to myself. There are a few exceptions. When someone genuinely wants answers and is open to entertaining the ones I have to share, I do. The other is a bit more challenging for my ego but I am getting better at it. When I am guided to specifically give someone a certain message, I do. I used to brush off this one as it was potentially embarrassing, particularly if it was for a perfect stranger. But once I started there was no going back. One of the first times was in an airport. As guided, I told a lady that (Name) told me to tell her (Message). Tears welled up in her eyes as, unbeknownst to me, (Name) was her recently passed sister and the message, which meant absolutely nothing to me, was significant to her. I don’t always get this kind of confirmation when I share a message or am inspired to take an action. However, it has happened enough times that now I pretty much always comply.

Knowing all that, pun intended, I still don’t feel it’s appropriate to say I’m "A Claircognizant". Then lots of people expect you to know everything all the time. It’s not like that for me. I don’t get my information “on demand” much. I must have touches of other psychic senses as well. One might conclude the “download” I received many years ago regarding the Tropical Spa Retreat was a claircognizant message. However in the “vision” of my Tropical Beach Home that began as a sleeping dream, I vividly “see” my lush surroundings. I can “feel” the ocean breeze and the sand beneath my feet. I can “smell” the plumeria and the salt air. Apparently, these are bits of clairvoyance and clairsentience too.
