You Never Walk Alone

From Mexico, I was mentally repacking for my next adventure to the magnificent Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Excitement was building as I’d been playing so many different angles to bring this to fruition for a very long time. I was looking forward to caring for and playing with 3 year-old twins as well as helping their parents in their dive shop. At the last minute, in a strange twist of fate, they got someone else to help “that could come right away”. Humanly speaking, I was pretty disappointed to say the least. On a higher level, I expressed gratitude knowing this, like numerous previous opportunities that had mysteriously fallen through, was me being protected from an undesirable situation. Better stated, I was being guided in a more favorable direction; one better in line with fulfilling my higher purpose here. Yet again, I ended up in California.

Spirit has spoken to me through songs, among other ways, since I was young. One day, a song came to mind I hadn’t heard in a long time. It was accompanied by a wave of intense emotion, for which I have no accurate label....along with tears. I tried to sing, “When You Walk Through A Storm” out loud. I couldn’t do so without being choked up by tears at a certain point toward the beginning of the song. I'd never actually seen Carousel, from which it originated, or even knew where it came from until I checked online.  Interestingly, I realized I’d drop off right about where Julie Bigelow did in the musical/movie. It wasn’t until very recently that I was finally able to sing it through without crying. It helped that I was in a physical location that nurtured my mind, body and spirit for that to happen. Other than that, my life is nothing like the musical – except for it seeming to go around in circles with its constant ups and downs. Occasionally, I know exactly why I am given a certain message or guidance or sign. More often than not, I muse about the possible meanings of things. I wonder what I can get from the information – a lesson, something to appreciate, the knowing I helped someone even though I don’t know exactly how. Sometimes, I simply accept the sign or synchronicity as confirmation that I am in the perfect place in the perfect time.
You can enjoy the uplifting, but possibly tear-jerking, clip from Carousel hereor this beautiful rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Celtic Woman.

Often, I post on my fb page, Michelle H Coaching, things to inspire readers. Many upliftments are thanks to Neale Donald Walsh, author of Conversations With God. This one seemed an appropriate compliment to this blog post theme:"On this day of your life Dear One, I believe God wants you to know ...

... that you are never alone. Never, ever, ever. God is
always with you, and you have people all around you
who care.

Sometimes it feels good to spend some time by your-
self, but remember, too, that it is okay to reach out to
another if you feel lonely. You would want him or her
to reach out to you, no? So what are you waiting for?

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, your Friend ... Neale"

If you have ever been touched, inspired, encouraged, and/or entertained by these blog posts, please consider making a donation to keep them coming. You just might be helping to manifest one day that Spa Retreat I continue Walking On toward in following that dream. Expressing ongoing gratitude for all the Angels in my life that protect, support and nudge me along on my path. I know you and I never walk alone!

All For Love

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. Some are aware, I have many reasons to not be fond of Valentine’s Day. Among other reasons, few hundred people would understand what I was talking about if I mentioned the Valentine’s Day Massacre. Without going into the details, to say it was traumatic doesn’t even scratch the surface. Usually, I don’t like to bring up “dark” situations but someone reading needed to “hear” this. While not denying the not so happy past Valentine circumstances, I choose to focus on the bigger picture here.

Expanding a bit on last month’s post and the way we look at things… This can be compared to a mall where you go to different stores and get various things. You have your favorite stores where you know you will find things that please you. There may be stores in that same mall where you would never go as you don’t prefer the energy or style of the places. However, you wouldn’t say it is an awful mall just because it has a couple stores you won’t frequent. You would simply go and shop the retailers you enjoy. A few of you are chuckling at this example knowing my preferences regarding shopping in general but it works for some people haha.

Here are some opportunities on a recent adventure that I had chances to practice what I preach and focus on things that brought me happy feelings.
↧ The description given of one of the available boats sounded like this.

In actuality, it was this ↣

Above is the resort in Mexico, the address of which I was directed to give customs for where I was staying. However, where I actually stayed is pictured below.

Before I arrived, there was much talk about the glamour of the area...

...yet where I was living looked more like this ↣

Although the work exchange was not quite as presented, I was able to see beauty in what was. There were happy people exercising in the park, many of whom I exchanged cheerful greetings with. It was beyond hilarious seeing a Pit bull jump joyfully to grab a rope hanging from a tree then proceed to simply swing back and forth until he could hold on no longer. There were gorgeous flowers, beautiful skies and, very importantly for me....warmth!!

I observed, once again, that some people appear to have it all. Then there are those that don’t have much in a material sense (including myself here). Many people who have all the stuff, also have more troubles, health issues and/or fears than one might imagine. There are people without great means, who have a great degree of happiness, health and freedom as well. It’s all in the choices made, what one focuses on and the meanings they assign things/events.

If you are ready to make a dramatic shift in your life, and would like some guidance along the way, I am available for Wellness Coaching by Phone in the U.S. Skype is a possibility for those outside the U.S. provided we can coordinate days and times. Please contact me to schedule your complimentary consultation to determine if this is appropriate for you.

Although every day is Love Day, I choose to use the “Hallmark holiday” as an opportunity to focus on it just a bit more. Of all the human created holidays, Valentine’s Day remains my most precious. Many who know this showered me with thoughtful love messages to help me celebrate the occasion. I am extremely grateful to you and all those who have shared their love in any way. Swirling it all around again!!

Happy Valentine's Month!!

Technology – Can’t Live With It Can’t Live Without It

Hope your 2019 is off to a fabulous start. Mine has been delightful in some ways and disappointing in others. Of important note - the disappointment was all in the way I imagined events.

Technology dilemmas have plagued me since I started using it. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve just want to disappear to my junglebeach and forget all about technology. But then I remember to be grateful for all it allows me to do at this time – including being in touch with loved ones. My previous computer, which was happily welcomed into my life as a gift from an Angel Friend, started to have issues shortly after I got it. Technology issues can be particularly difficult to resolve when someone moves around a lot. The amazing team at AXICOM did everything they could then we still ended up sending it back to Dell since it was under their warranty. Dell had it for almost 2 months. When I got it back, it still had problems. However, I didn’t want to deal with them because it was so effortful communicating productively with Dell in the first place and not having my computer at all was worse than having it with the problems. Pages could be written about the saga of my computer but you really don’t want to read about that any more than I want to relive it by writing. Toward the end of last year, Costco came through miraculously for me. In spite of my computer being out of warranty, and all my dealings with their less than satisfactory concierge,

I serendipitously found the magicians in the company who actually granted me a refund. Now, here I am feeling blessed on my new laptop. So that’s a bit about my computer. In an ironic twist, shortly after my previous post My Gypsea Life saying I didn’t desire a smartphone, I acquired one – another long story I’ll spare you the minutiae of. Mainly, I accepted it because one of my work exchange hosts wanted me to communicate with him via WhatsApp. Usually when I go to another country, I just purchase a simple, inexpensive phone there. Verizon assured me the smartphone was unlocked and I could use it with any other carrier. Turns out it would not work with any carriers in the region. For all practical purposes, I still did not have a smartphone. My work exchange situation was complex – as have been many in the past. I wasn’t in the location I anticipated and the work not quite as described….or particularly respectful. The only internet I had access to turned out to be a known spammer IP which compromised my computer. This resulted in my email being hacked over and over thus preventing me from accessing my main email. Had a couple other technological issues as well but you get the point. Again, a big shout out to all my bright Technology Angels, including AXICOM and Thinking2, who remotely held my hand to help get me through these experiences!

Time after time, I get the feeling that the technology will never work for me and want to do away with it. Some might also tell you stories of the strange things technology does in my presence. Then, I realize it’s important for my mission at this time. This is a perfect opportunity to Let Go and Let God (or whatever name you prefer for the Divine). I do the best I can and release the outcome. I know all that presents itself in my life is here to serve me and the Higher Good. The more I accept this and be in peace with it, the more powerful my energy is to assist others on this planet and beyond. Yes, some days are easier to put remembrance into practice than others. Now and then I have to have a little pep talk with myself. You’ve heard of the Dark Night of the Soul.

Much of 2018 was a Dark Year for my Soul. Granted, it was still full of love, miracles and blessings at every turn. However, the pep talks I had to give myself were on an almost continuous basis. Life can be like that. We all have challenges to face. They are as big as we allow them to be or see them to be. Conversely, they are as small as we allow grace to help us view them. It’s not a matter of right or wrong. It is just our experience and the choices we play with.

How about you? Do you have challenges you seem to have to face over and over again? How do you choose to experience them? Is there a way you can embrace the situations thus experiencing them more “lightly”? I do not judge you and encourage you not to judge yourself. Rather acknowledge you are doing the best you can and consciously make the highest choice you can in each moment.
                                    Namaste!

My Gypsea Life

Often the word “gypsy” conjures up images of colorfully clad nomads dancing to lively music, reading futures and possibly even conning money from unsuspecting people. Some gypsies may do that but it’s just too much of a generalization for the various kinds of nomads out there today. Most people can’t fathom how I live. When someone has a house, a job, a car, a smartphone……it’s hard to compute peoples’ lives who do not. No complaint, just wanting to clarify as I’ve had many "situations" with folks due to misunderstandings regarding their expectations…in a “normal” world.

As a Gypsea (not a typo but a spelling I have adopted for obvious reasons), I don’t know how long I will be in a particular area. And, even though I may know people there, I don’t always announce myself as I am unable to meet with everyone. Sometimes people find out I’m in town, or was in town, and get offended because we didn’t get together. What they don't realize is I am busy helping wherever I am, busy figuring out what’s next in my unpredictable life, busy working on maintaining my own life-balance. If we are meant to meet in person, it will, and does, flow peacefully.

Being more technologically challenged than most, I do the best I can at staying connected. Surprising to many, I could easily be a recluse but, for now, it feels appropriate for me to keep in touch via human words.

I am generally not tethered to technology, like the masses, and email is currently my best means of communication. Unlike others on facebook (and other social media platforms), my goal is not to get my numbers of friends high just for a massive number but to have quality connections. Interestingly, I had almost 20 facebook friends who transitioned to their next life. I kept them in my friend list for years as it almost felt profane to “unfriend” them. The realization came that it was time to let go. I thought of every one of them, tenderly having a beautiful few moments of communion with each, as I removed the earthly fb link I had with them that we both no longer need. They will always remain in my heart.

Since I don’t have a smartphone, certain interactions people want me to have with them are not possible such as Instagram, snapchat, whatsapp and the like. Many earth angels have offered to provide me a smartphone – some even with service! It is my choice, at this time, not to have one thank you 😊

From a social media standpoint, facebook has been the easiest for me to connect with people although it has acquired quite a few not so helpful features. I used to get email notifications every time someone commented within the parameters I created in my settings. The messages were all spelled out in the email – meaning I could read them offline as I am not always on the internet like most. I could even compose an email offline to that person if a response was fitting which I could do a quick email send/receive if I only had brief internet access. The most challenging fb issue being that now I have to log onto Messenger to read the messages that used to be complete in my email. To add insult to injury, when I click the link from the email about a new message in Messenger, it doesn’t even show up so I have to open a complete new window anyway to read it.

Occasionally, I post to linkedin, pinterest, twitter and G+ but it is humanly impossible for me to thoughtfully keep up with any of those. Probably the main reason I post to those platforms is to share things for my friends that I think would be valuable to and appreciated by others.

A fairly new social media platform, MeWe, appears to show promise. There are no ads and they seem to respect members' privacy much more. Click here if you wish to check it out or join me there.

The concept of freely giving is something I have shared about in many of my previous blog posts – one being ALOHA Land
Consider a new way of living - Free World One. I hope someday you'll join us. Then the world will live as ONE!!

Another giving/exchange platform I’d like to see grow is Simbi - mentioned also in past blog I AM HOME.

With any format, whether email or any social platforms, it is not predictable as to if I am in a position to respond. This could be hours, days, weeks or months depending on living conditions, time, and technology availability.

The way I see it; True Friends are a special breed. They understand life varies for infinite reasons on all sides. They are the ones that could go for months, years or even a lifetime without apparent contact. Then, when we do communicate again, we simply pick up where we left off…..

Sometimes Gypseas do sell things…especially with an ocean flair! Are you looking for a one of a kind holiday gift? Something for your favorite Mermaid/Merman? Something for yourself? You might be able to cover one or all bases at Gifts From The Sea and Other Treasures,  a Mother – Daughter (ad)venture.

Thank you all for BEing in my life. Together, with all our differences and similarities, we make this world a brighter place!!
